Peak State Lifestyle/Product Photoshoot

Recently I shot a series of lifestyle and product-focused images for Peak State Coffee's social media. The following shots are some of the selects from the batch. For the lifestyle portion the brand wanted a theme of "fuel for your early morning adventures," so we focused on a sunrise trail run/hike up the Flatirons in Boulder, CO. We started shortly before dawn to catch first light with headlamps and a grand view of the city.

After a few shots, we moved further up the trail to a talus field with another impressive view. As the sun rose we captured some more running-focused shots that came out nicely. An assistant used a reflector to help fill in the shadows on the talent.
To finish off the shoot we had the talent prepare the coffee by grinding and brewing a pot - perks of
shooting for a coffee brand is you get to have coffee after the shoot!
