Gobi Heat - a heated jacket company based out of Fort Collins, CO - contacted me with a need for lifestyle photos based around their heated jackets and accessories. Based on their needs, we decided to split the shoot into two half days: day one centered around workwear, and day two focused on hunting and hunting lifestyle. Gobi's main request for the workwear location was that we shoot in an active construction site - somewhere the clothing would look appropriate. Over the course of several weeks and dozens of calls/emails, I sourced a contracting company that was willing to let us shoot in their site. On the day of, we shot in single-digit temperatures and used supplemental lighting to create natural feeling images. We came away with a great selection of shots. These are the final selects from day one.
